Deuteronomy 14:2 For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.
Deercreek Society is full of peculiar people but what does that mean? Well the dictionary defines peculiar as strange unusual or sprecial an individual who is different or unique. Nowadays it is so easy to go with the flow and do whatever others are doing but i believe that the true path to happiness is following that strait and narrow way. It is easy to be bad anyone can do that but it takes discipline to show kindness and humility to people. The Bible says that in the last days people will be more and more unthankful and disobedient. This in turn will set us apart even more making us more peculiar than ever before! I hope all of us continue to be peculiar and follow the path that is least traveled because it proves to always lead to the best destination!
2 TIMOTHY 3: 1-5
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
